AI Ethics: A Guide for The Confused Policymaker

At The Ethical Policy Project, we are dedicated to helping policymakers better understand and navigate the ethical challenges associated with the growing uptake of artificial intelligence (AI) technologies.

At The Ethical Policy Project, we employ a robust philosophical methodology to assess the ethical status of public policy, which centres on the five principles of ethical policymaking listed below: rights, neutrality, sustainability, autonomy, and efficiency. These principles are used to evaluate concrete policy proposals, which are ranked according to our our distinctive grading system.
